Thanks for the feedback - the PDF for Hebrew dates now shows both transliterations and Hebrew text.

Hi, thanks for using Hebcal!

To display a Jewish calendar on your website, you can use event data from Hebcal.com and the open source JavaScript event calendar from fullcalendar.io.

Hi Linda, thanks for noticing! We'll get the Hebrew translation up there soon.

In Israel only, the 5th day of Sukkot Chol haMoed can fall on Shabbat. This will happen in 2022, for example:

According to Merriam Webster, Ethanim is the 7th month of the ancient Hebrew calendar corresponding to Tishri

Hi, thanks for using Hebcal! We've recently made some changes to our Hebrew birthday calendar, which will sync to iPhone. Give it a try at https://www.hebcal.com/yahrzeit and let us know if it works for you!

Thanks for using Hebcal!

We have adjusted the navigation buttons to be displayed on small displays, but still hidden on extra-small displays. If you're using Hebcal on a mobile phone you will see both the year and month navigation buttons on landscape view, and you'll see just the year navigation on portrait view.

Thanks! We've published this change on the website now.

Hi, thanks for your message!

We apologize for the oversight - Hoshana Raba has been added to our Sukkot holiday page:

Hi, thanks for using Hebcal! Yes, under the terms of our Creative Commons license you can use Hebcal data on your website if you give us credit even if you are not associated with a synagogue.

Thanks! We have added the Tishrei translation to the website already.

We have Torah readings for Chanukah and Pesach already, for both Israel and Diaspora. We also have all of Sukkot Torah reading for Diaspora, and Sukkot days 1-5 for Israel. It's only 6th day Sukkot Torah Reading in Israel that we are missing.
