Thank you! It's perfect! I greatly appreciate the extra link and information.

chag sameach,

I can see why that was confusing. What I mean is I have subscribed for the daily sederot and the page that comes up for Oct. 03, 2023 features the information for the next Shabbat and (thus) for Shmini Atzeret only, not the readings for Sukkot, which was taking place today. This is what I see when I click on Hebcal for Oct. 3, 2023.

(Previously it would feature the date of Oct. 3 and then the readings for Sukkot Chol Hamoed, for example for that date.) Now it "jumps" to a date that has not yet occurred, eg. Shabbat, Oct. 7, 2023.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your reply and for your help.

Unfortunately, the Sukkot page doesn't come up right now. Instead, as soon as Shabbat is over (Israel time, I think, which is 10 hrs ahead of Pacific D. Time) the page jumps to the next Shabbat, or holiday. So right now, although we're in Sukkot Chol Hamoed, the page that comes up is for Parashat Shmini Atzeret.

I use your system because I can post a link to Hebcal in my browser that gives me the current readings for each minyan. But if it's programmed to jump ahead to the next Shabbat as soon as Shabbat is over, then  it's not able to show the *current* Chol Hamoed readings when we need them.

If you need to program it so it jumps ahead to the next Shabbat (or holiday) information, perhaps one answer might be to post a link on the page that Diaspora minyanim can use to access the correct weekday readings during Chol Hamoed.

Previously, the page did not modify until the entire holiday was over.

Thank you again for your assistance,

Jan
