Thanks for writing, and sorry for the trouble. Events missing for a single year, with the years before and after still showing, usually means the calendar was downloaded as a one-time file (so it is detached from our updates) rather than added as a subscription feed. A subscribed feed stays connected to Hebcal and keeps updating on its own, covering multiple years.
Here is how to subscribe directly from your iPhone or iPad:
If the events are still missing afterward, or you would like a clean start, you can delete your existing Hebcal calendars and subscribe again. This page explains how to find and remove them: https://www.hebcal.com/home/221/ios-iphone-ipad-delete
Please let us know how it goes, or if you get stuck at any step. We are happy to help.
Hi ShaiR,
Thanks for writing, and sorry for the trouble.
1. Open Safari and go to https://www.hebcal.com/hebcal (or https://www.hebcal.com/yahrzeit for a Yahrzeit + Anniversary calendar).
2. Fill out the form with your preferences and tap Create Calendar.
3. Tap Download…, then choose the Apple option.
4. Tap "Subscribe on iPhone, iPad & macOS".
5. Tap Subscribe on the "Add Subscription Calendar" dialog, review the details, then tap Add and Done.
