Amazon Echo date converter
Hi guys - I want to convert Hebrew dates into English dates. But whenever I say "Alexa, ask Hebcal to convert 26 Tishrei 5684" or similar, I get "which city or zip code do you want for Shabbos times?" which doesn't help me at all.
Also - could be awesome if you had the tool act as a Hebrew/English (language) translator, not just a date converter.
"Alexa, ask Hebcal - what's the English transaltion for tov?"
"Alexa, ask Hebcal - what's the Hebrew word for good?"
Just a thought... I realize that's gonna be massive htough.

Our voice integration with Alexa only offers converting from Gregorian dates to Hebrew. It does not yet offer the inverse conversion. We will need to investigate how well Alexa understands non-English words like Tishrei and Chesvhan.
Regarding language translation, there already appears to be at least one Alexa skill that can do multi-lingual translations:
